2000 AD is a venerable ongoing weekly anthology comic from the United Kingdom, known for features like Judge Dredd, ABC Warriors, Rogue Trooper and Strontium Dog.

History

The title has passed ownership between several publishers throughout its history. In 2004, Rebellion Development, a game developer, owned the publication rights, and inked a deal with DC Comics to publish collections of stories from the 2000 AD Series, as well as its sister title, the Judge Dredd Megazine.

2000 AD has been a showcase for top British talent for decades, and has launched numerous big names into the comics industry, including Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Dave Gibbons, and Brian Bolland.
