3g4 is a Parademon spawned as a soldier on Apokolips during the Genesis event. Crash-landing on Earth, he met Aquaman and was encouraged to fight against his mindless programming. Developing sentience, he questioned his orders for the first time in Parademon history. His battle-hardened drill instructor Topkick almost killed Aquaman, but 3g4 distracted him at the last second with an attack to save his new friend's life. Topkick killed 3g4 immediately for incompetence. In his dying breath, Aquaman asked him "Why?" and 3g4 responded "Why... not?" before succumbing to his wounds.
