Synopsis for "How to Win a War in Space"

Day Three: Lobo brings Adam Strange, Animal Man and Starfire before Lady Styx, and asks for payment. However, Lady Styx feels that Lobo is a coward and issues a litany of insults, which Lobo's trusted dolphin companion translates for him. Unable to maintain his pledge to the triple-fold path of peace, Lobo flies into a fury and begins hacking away at Lady Styx's troops. She tosses her into the maw of Ekron, who then flies into the path of a Sun-Eater. When everything settles down, Adam Strange and Starfire discover that Animal Man has been shot with necro-toxin. He convulses slightly and then dies.

Day Five: Back on Earth, Montoya continues to watch over the Question at St. Luke's hospital. His condition worsens, and he is slowly slipping away.

Day Six: Montoya meets up with Kathy Kane to discuss the Question's illness. Montoya decides to bring him back to Nanda Parbat in the hopes of finding a cure.

In Kahndaq, Osiris mourns over the regretable choice he made to take another's life. Sobek tries to cheer him up.

Day Seven: Supernova meets with Rip Hunter. Rip is desperately attempting to cobble something together using various hi-tech devices, such as the gravity rods of the Starmen, Luthor's Kryptonite gauntlet and the Shadow-Thief's Dimensionmeter. Their primary concern however is evading the psychopathic robot, Skeets. They sequester themselves inside the shrunken city of Kandor, in the hopes of avoiding detection, but Skeets has already located them.
