Synopsis for "Cauldron!"

The powerful armor of Cauldron is being used by the Metropolis police as a joint venture with Cadmus Labs. Operated by Kevin Crow, it gives the law a chance to hold its own against more powerful criminals. They stop some gun smuggling down by the docks. Superman arrives as well as the media and they are skeptical as to Cadmus and Dr. Westfield's intentions.

Superman returns to Lois at her place and Cat Grant arrives along with Ira Green. He retells the story of how his daughter, one of Lex Luthor's personal trainers, has gone missing. Lois remembers his daughter was the one who drop kicked Luthor once.

Dr. Westfield meets up with Dabny Donovan. He tells Dabney that he still supports him, despite what he told news reporters. Later Cauldron is stopping a car with drug dealers in it. As the local police arrive to arrest the criminals, Dabney hijacks the frequency that controls the armor, and orders it to blast the car. Superman arrives and knocks the armor into another building filled with homeless people. He also uses his heat vision, and unintentionally vaporizes Cauldron's arm. Superman is noticing that in a lot of his recent battles his strength seems far greater than it was before.

Dabney releases control of the armor, and the battle is over. The building had received severe damage and is in the middle of collapsing. Superman does his best to protect the homeless and hold it up. Cauldron, back in Kevin Crow's control, helps hold the building up, while Superman rescues the homeless from the building. Before Superman can go back in and help Cauldron, the building collapses, destroying the armor. Meanwhile, Lobo is motorbiking his way toward Earth.
