Adolf Hitler is one of history's greatest villains. He was leader of the Nazi Party, and rose to power in Germany establishing a fascist state. His direction led to the outbreak of World War II in Europe. In addition, he is responsible for millions of innocent deaths during The Holocaust. Hitler was a real life person, although he was first used as a DC Comics character by Bill Finger in Green Lantern #3. (1942)
