Synopsis for "The Curse of the Wizard's Arrow!"

While attending a carnival Oliver Queen and Roy Harper stop at a fortune telling booth run by a man claiming to be Merlin. Merlin tells the two that in 24 hours Oliver will kill his best friend with an arrow. Chalking it up as superstition, Oliver decides to play it safe by using a rifle with gimmicked bullets for the next 24 hours.

After successfully stopping a few crimes by this method, Speedy and Green Arrow return to the Arrow Cave and remark that the 24 hour deadline has passed and that they are safe. However, as Green Arrow puts down the rifle it falls over, shooting off a round that hits a cross-bow that fires an arrow into the chest of a mannequin of Roy. Shocked by this, they also realize that Oliver forgot to set the clock back an hour for day light savings time.

Synopsis for "Aquaman Duels the Animal-Master!"

One of the worlds greatest animal trainers, Gustave the Great, decides that show business is not as lucrative as robbing and stealing and soon uses his trained animals to steal an armored car. Escaping in a boat, the authorities notify Aquaman who finds Gustave the next day. Having to retreat from battle when he hears a radio report of a downed plane, Aquaman returns to resume his battle against Gustave to find that his ship has been wrecked. Gustave ends up being washed ashore a deserted island and begins training the animals there in order to get revenge on Aquaman and then sends out a message in a bottle to his foe. The two pit their trained animals -- Aquaman's friends of the deep against Gustave's trained land creatures -- until Aquaman gains the upper hand and knocks out Gustave. He then has his flying fish net Gustave up and fly him to the authorities.
