Synopsis for "Innocence"

Lt. Lupé Leocadio visits Pete Ross at Styker's Island, after he had been unmasked by Superman as the villain Ruin. Pete professes his innocence, but he is beaten severely by Lupé.

Clark Kent arrives to question Pete under the guise of an interview, and becomes agitated when he discovers what is happening to his friend. When Lt. Leocadio leaves, Clark attempts to comfort Pete, who reveals that he has discovered that Clark and Superman are the same person.

In the same prison, the Parasite twins attempt an escape. Clark promises to help Pete as he rushes to stop the villains. In the following battle, Alex Allston, the green parasite is killed by an O.M.A.C. unit. It is revealed that during the fight, Ruin's costume was stolen and Pete Ross has seemingly escaped.

Meanwhile, in the Batcave, Batman takes a call from Lois Lane as part of her ongoing quest to discover who shot her in Umec.
