History
The Baron Agua Sin Gaaz is a Jamaican crime lord and skilled vodoun Priest. He is the grandfather of Anita Fite alias Empress, member of Young Justice.
The Baron lived in Haiti as with his wife Oya. Empress's grandmother escaped Haiti when pregnant with the mother of Empress, Oshi Fite. Empress' grandmother fled Haiti because of the fear of what The Baron would do to their unborn child
Oya took refuge in Louisiana and Sin Gaaz was not involved with the family, until he attempted to kill Donald Fite and accidentally killed his own daughter, Oshi Fite, which left Empress without a mother. The Baron then went to live in Zandia, where he smuggled body parts from all over the world and grew his antibodies and practiced his experiments involving recreating life with the use of science and voodoo. The Baron tries to help Zandia win in the Olympics by killing Tina Thomas, he fails. He is later seen when Ishido Maad and Donald Fite attempted to stop the Baron's smuggling, which led to Donald's death.
Empress enraged eventually goes to Zandia with the rest of Young Justice to get her revenge. While fighting her grandfather she realizes it would not be right to kill him, then as he tries to put her into one of his chambers for recreating life, he is hit by an arrow from Bonnie King-Jones dressed as Arrowette and falls into his own chamber, where he is claimed by Empress' teammate, Secret, who later confirmed his voodoo gods had condemned him to unbearable and eternal torment for his crimes. Two of his creations were infant versions of Oshi and Donald Fite and they are brought back to life when their souls escaped from Secret after his death. Empress took the two babies with her to raise.
