Mister Element is a alternate identity used by Doctor Alchemy. In his civilian identity he is a chemist with split-personality disorder, whose darker personality manifests as a super-villain. Using his knowledge as a chemist, he creates elemental weapons and commits crimes. He is an enemy of the Flash and a member of the Rogues Gallery. Doctor Alchemy was created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino, first appearing in Showcase #13. (1958)
