Synopsis for "Hunt for Ray Palmer (Part I of IV) - Never Too Small to Hit the Big Time"

Dwarfstar is still microscopic, and it's driving him (even further) insane. He realizes that he is slowly returning to normal size the longer he is away from the Bio-Belt.

Ryan returns to Ivy Town, and hails a cab. The cab driver tells him "Flay imp errand", and Ryan realizes he's that same anagrammist who has been giving him cryptic messages. Ryan has had enough, and wants to know who this guy really is. A scuffle ensues, and the cab drivers head comes off. The driver is unfazed, and seems to be getting a kick out of the situation—he gives Ryan another anagram: "Hey, uphold serene". Ryan, who never learned to drive, struggles to keep the car under control, narrowly missing cars and pedestrians, but ultimately crashing the taxi into a wall.

When he gets home, Ryan decodes his messages: "Flay imp errand" = "Find Ray Palmer" and "Hey, uphold serene" = "He needs your help". The Lighter Than Air Society has organized a "Welcome Back" party for him, but Ryan decides he needs some sleep. Unfortunately for him, a number of Ray Palmer's old rogues crash, and have less-than-celebratory intentions. The partygoers clear-out, and Ryan dispatches the villains without too much effort, only to have the cab driver show up and make them disappear. The cab driver says that Ray Palmer is in trouble, and he needs Ryan's help. Then he reveals his true identity - Chronos.
