Alton Janus works as a White King in the organization known as Checkmate.[1] He is secretly working for Maxwell Lord in order to help him seize control of Checkmate. When Fire of the Justice League try to enter the Checkmate Headquarters and use their Nest to locate Maxwell Lord. She disguise herself as Rocket Red and make it to the Nest before being surrounded.
When Rocket Red's armor is hit the illusion falls and Fire's cover is blown. Alton Janus steps in to order Taleb to stop his pursuit of the team. [2]
