Amaya Jiwe is the Zambesian superheroine Vixen, the wielder of the Tantu Totem. Invented for the Arrowverse, she was a member of the Justice Society during World War II who left her timeline to join the Legends. During that time, she was in a relationship with Nate Heywood. She eventually returned to her own time and became the grandmother of Mari McCabe and Kuasa.
Amaya Jiwe was created by Greg Berlanti, Chris Fedak, Phil Klemmer and Marc Guggenheim, first appearing in the DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode "Out of Time" (2016).
