Amertek Industries is an American military industrial firm that formerly employed engineer John Henry Irons.
History
Irons developed the "Toastmasters" for them, but was furious to learn that their inventions were being used by gangs. Irons destroyed all his notes and left the corporation, but it wasn't over. After Irons started operating as Steel, Armertek stole the plans for the armor and used them to create super-powered soldiers themselves.
