Synopsis for "The Clockwork Crimes of the Time Commander"

When Ellen Baker realizes that her children's book is going to be published, her husband Buddy insists that they go to Paris to celebrate. They teleport to the headquarters of the Justice League Europe.
Somewhere, a strange man who is obsessed with time slowly remembers his identity, eventually donning his costume as the Time Commander.
Buddy worries that something strange happened to Ellen while he was in Africa, but she has few memories of the fact that she disappeared from existence. She reassures him that she doesn't mind the weirdness of being married to a superhero. However, moments later, they are faced with a rampaging dinosaur.
Buddy uses his powers to knock the dinosaur out, just as the JLE arrives, claiming that the time has gone crazy, and all clocks have stopped. Elongated Man suspects the Time Commander.
In a cemetery, the Time Commander wreaks havoc with time, bringing people back to life, and seeing himself ten minutes into the future with a broken nose. The JLE arrives, and they fight. Animal Man, however, tries to reason with him. Despite Buddy's warnings, Metamorpho punches Time Commander in the face, breaking his nose and knocking him out. Buddy seems disappointed that things had to end violently.
Later, Buddy and Ellen have dinner together, and they comfort eachother, saying that everything is working out. Just outside, Mr. Lennox drives by.

Trivia

  • Elongated Man's reference to himself as "your flexible friend" is a reference to the once-slogan of Access, a now defunct credit card distributed in the UK.
