Anthro was the first boy. Born in the Prehistoric Era, he fights for the survival of his family. This includes his wife Embra, his brother Lart, his father Ne-ahn and his father's wife Emba. Metron of the New Gods gave him the gift of fire to guide his people. He was a member of the Bear Tribe and Team 13. Anthro was created by writer and artist Howie Post, first appearing in Showcase #74. (1968)
