Anton Lamont is a professor of art and history who has a strong interest in occult items such as Cloak of Cagliostro. He uses the cloak for criminal purposes.

Prelude to Infinite Crisis

Shortly before Infinite Crisis, Lamont became allied with the The Society.

Recently, he organized a group of Hawkman villains to kill their nemesis. However, the plan is thwarted by Hawkman.

None; all of the Fadeaway Man's abilities are gained through the use of the Cloak of Cagliostro.

Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985-86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
