Apollo is the name of several unrelated characters in the DC Universe, originally belonging to the Olympian God of light. In the 30th Century, Tal Obrin takes this name to fight the Legion of Super-Heroes. There is another member of StormWatch and the Authority known as Apollo, a vigilante with powerful solar abilities. His secret identity is currently unknown. He is openly gay and married to his partner Midnighter, sharing an adopted daughter in the Century Baby named Jenny Quantum. Apollo was created by Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch, first appearing in StormWatch (Volume 2) #4. (1998) |
