Aquaman is the mentor of Aqualad and is a member of the Justice League.
History
When Beast Boy told the story of the time he joined the Justice League as part of his origin, Aquaman was among his team members. However, Cyborg pointed out that Beast Boy was just embellishing the story for effect.
