Synopsis for "One Demon Life"

In the inner city testing barracks of Apokolips, humans were being turned into Parademons. One Parademon, designated 3g4, emerged and followed his fellow Parademons to the testing ground, where they were supposed to demonstrated their flight abilities to Topkick, who evaluated them. When it was 3g4's turn, he passed the test by flying.

Meanwhile, on Poseidonis, Tempest came to look for Aquaman, but found Vulko instead. Garth asked Vulko if he knew where Arthur was, but the older Atlantean informed the younger that he did not know where their king was. Garth left the room and told Dolphin that Vulko didn't know where Aquaman was. At that moment, Dolphin hinted to Garth that she and Aquaman had been lovers.

Topkick's squad of Parademons arrived on Earth through a Boom Tube. Shortly after arriving, they encountered an airplane and one of the Parademons, 3g4, had collided with one of the plane's wings and landed in the ocean. Topkick decided to leave 3g4 behind and continue his mission. A hammerhead shark approached 3g4, but Aquaman commanded the shark to stay away from the Parademon. Aquaman approached 3g4 and offered to help him. 3g4 realized that Aquaman was the target of his mission. The Parademon remained silent towards the Atlantean as the latter left and announced that he would send a whale to pick the former up.

Back in Atlantis, Dolphin and Garth were conversing when Topkick's squad of Parademons attacked. While Aquaman was swimming back to Atlantis, he was pursued and attacked by 3g4, who was bound to follow Topkick's attack order. A fight broke out between Aquaman and 3g4 until the latter spoke a word. Aquaman implied that 3g4 was nothing but a "mindless slave". The Atlantean left 3g4 behind to fight the other Parademons at Poseidonis. Garth and Koryak were fighting the Parademons. Topkick attempted to attack Vulko, but the latter was saved by Dolphin. Garth and Koryak were pinned down by the Parademons until they were saved by Aquaman and the hammerhead shark. Meanwhile, Topkick held Dolphin over his head, drawing the attention of the Atlantean king. Topkick used Dolphin's body to hit Arthur. The Atlantean king and the Parademon commander were locked in a fight as Vulko hid in a corner nearby. During their battle, Topkick gained the upper hand over Aquaman as he taunted the Atlantean. Aquaman was saved by 3g4, who attacked Topkick. The Parademon commander focused his attention towards his former subordinate and mortally wounded him. Topkick was then taken away by a Boom Tube. After the battle, Aquaman came to the side of 3g4, who had died from his wounds sustained during the battle.
