Synopsis for "Skinwalker"

On the Fort Apache Reservation in Arizona, a farmer comes across a mutilated cow in the night, only to be set upon by a hulking humanoid in an animal skin, the Skinwalker.

Aboard The Living Room, his airborne headquarters, the Operative argues over the custody of his grandson Aaron Cole with the boy's mother via video call. The Operative refuses to return Cole, who joins him from the cockpit, leaving the plane to fly itself. They then witness the arrival of the Operative's team the OthersAquaman, Prisoner-of-War, and Ya'Wara—by teleportation. While Cole takes custody of Ya'Wara's jaguar companions, Aquaman explains that he has gathered the Others to retrieve the Power Glove, one of the Dead King's Atlantean Weapons lost in Arizona, an environment hostile—politically and otherwise—to Atlanteans such as himself.

There, the young shaman Sky Alchesay speaks with the spirit of her deceased mother to the consternation of her skeptical and protective older brother, Victorio Alchesay, a police officer. The two siblings leave their grandmother's home: while Victorio travels to Gateway Arroyo to see their uncle, Sky sets off into the desert, informed of the Others' approach by the Thunder Beings.

At the arroyo, Victorio's uncle Carl encourages him to leave the reservation. He declines before being drawn away by the discovery of the Skinwalker's killings, attributed to a cougar. As he leaves, his uncle's eyes glow red.

Over Arizona, the Living Room is struck by lightning despite clear skies, and forced to ground, where it is promptly boarded by Sky Alchesay, who attempts to claim the Seal of Clarity, an artifact once carried by the Others' deceased ally Kahina. Though Ya'Wara initially objects, she is won over when Alchesay conveys to her a message of love from Kahina's spirit. The shaman recruits the Others against the Skinwalker, who has obtained the Power Glove and seeks to use it to free a ghost army of Skinwalkers sealed away by the Thunder Beings.

Teleporting to the Skinwalkers' location, the Others attack the living monster while Prisoner-of-War projects a forcefield and deploys a patrol of ghost soldiers to contain the dead. The Operative and Ya'Wara are defeated, leaving Alchesay against the living Skinwalker. She reveals him to be her uncle Carl and her mother's killer, then calls on the Thunder Beings to strip him of his power while the Others seal the breach he created. The Skinwalker is crushed under debris as Alchesay and the Others teleport away.

Back at the Living Room, Alchesay promises to meet the Others again in the future, and sees them off with her mother's spirit beside her.
