Archer is the name of several characters from the DC Universe.
The first Archer was an enemy of Superman from Earth-Two, named Quigley. The second Archer was a unknown man who robs from the rich and gives to the poor, like Robin Hood. Eventually, he became an enemy of Batman. The third Archer was one of the Man-Melds, mercenaries who were granted super powers by the criminal geneticist Malleus. The fourth Archer was a independent villain hoping to make a name for himself during the Forever Evil.
Quigley was created by Jerry Siegel and Leo Nowak, first appearing in Superman #13 (1941). The second Archer was created by Stanley Ralph Ross, first appearing in the Batman 1966 TV Series episode Shoot a Crooked Arrow (1966). The third Archer was created by John Rozum and Eric Battle, first appearing in Hardware #34 (1995). The fourth Archer was created by Brian Buccellato and Scott Hepburn, first appearing in Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion #2 (2014).
