Arthur F. Peddy (b. December 26, 1916 – d.May 15, 2002) was a comic book artist active from the 1940s to the 60s.

Professional History

Peddy started out working for the Jerry Iger and Will Eisner's studio in the late 1930s. He drew a wide variety of genres for Fox Features Syndicate, Fiction House and Quality Comics. He created Phantom Lady and drew all her adventures before joining the War effort in 1942.

He formed his own studio with Bernie Sachs after the war and worked for All-American Publications, Fawcett Comics and Ziff-Davis. He drew for DC's war stories in the 1950s and from 1958 to 1968, worked almost exclusively in romance titles.
