History
Centuries ago, in Feudal Japan, the samurai Asane Kanemoto was punished by his father for showing fear in the face of death. He was hung from a vine and left to die, but he made a pact with the forces of Nature to serve them as a soldier in exchange for eternal life. And so his body was enveloped by branches of the tree and he became a hybrid of man and plant. Years later, he received the mission to kill Tefé Holland, for alleged crimes against the laws of Nature. When he finally found her, agents of the Department of Agriculture prevent him from killing her. During the fight, Tefé decapitated Kudzu, killing him.
