Synopsis for "Kev"
Kev is given a mission and a gun with advanced, dimension-sensitive ammunition from his “Boss”. His mission: teleport with supplies to The Carrier, the home of the Authority, and kill them. He does with ease, only to find that there is no one there to save the Earth now that the Conquernauts of Yoke, galactic warlords from the twelfth dimension, are attacking.
Kev finds out that his “Boss” is really Infiltron Five, agent of the Conquernauts of Yoke, and that he was duped. The Carrier reveals itself to be sentient to Kev and reverses the flow of time (within itself) back to before Kev killed the Authority. Kev warns the Authority whom, along with some help from the Eiffel Tower, is able to defeat the invaders. Thereafter, the Authority are curious of how the Conquernauts' invasion came up unnoticed and question Kev in which they discover that he'd kill them. Although the Authority are stern of what Kev done, but decide to let him go on a warning much to the Midnighter's chagrin. However, Kev makes an ill-timed remark about Apollo and Midnighter as a "couple of poofs" earned him the beating of a life-time and ended up in a hospital.
