Barbara Gordon was the daughter of Commissioner James Gordon. She wanted to be just like Batman so she became Batgirl. She was on many adventures with the Dark Knight and the Boy Wonder.

Years later, she eventually retired and married Gotham's District Attorney, Sam Young. She followed her father as commissioner of police in Gotham.

Barbara Gordon possesses no known superhuman powers or abilities.

Electronics/Computer Expert: Batgirl is good in hacking into any computer files as she revealed to Supergirl about it.

Strength level

Batgirl possesses the strength of a woman her age, height, and weight who engages in intensive regular exercise.

Weaknesses

All the weaknesses inherent in every other human female.

The DCAU version of Barbara Gordon/Batgirl never becomes the character called Oracle, as does her mainstream DCU counterpart Barbara Gordon (New Earth).
