As a member of an endangered species, Barreer Wot has a greater number of worries in comparison to a regular Corpsman. In addition to his regular concerns as an officer in the Green Lantern Corps he is also in the crosshairs of a poaching group. Possibly because his people honor their fallen warriors by eating them, on the black market, the hide of Barreer Wot has a greater value than some planets.[1]
During the Sinestro Corps War, Bareer Wot fought an unnamed tentacled soldier of the Sinestro Corp and battled the amorphous villain Slushh alongside his partner Lok Neboora. Barreer Wot developed a friendship with his sector partner in basic training and the two have been seen dining together in the cafeteria on Oa.
