Synopsis for "The Flood Part Four"

Oracle has entered the Calculator’s mind and begun to pity him after witnessing his memories of his abusive childhood. The Calculator attacks her. Oracle reminds him that if one of them dies while they’re connected, they will both die. He freezes when they come across his memory of discovering his wife’s body, and Oracle runs away and tries to figure out a way to escape; the Calculator quickly finds her, however, and thanks her for bringing him to his “home turf,” forcing him to make realizations he’s been trying to avoid. He reaches out to literally pull the plug on the hallucination, which will kill them both.

Batgirl lands in Slaughter Swamp and breaks into the decommissioned military base where the Calculator has taken Oracle. She finds the corpse of Wendy Harris’s brother Marvin as well as the unconscious Oracle. Batgirl touches the wires attached to Marvin, setting off the motion detector, and the computer begins to count down to the termination of the techno-zombies. She tries to destroy the Calculator’s satellite dish, but that activates another failstaff: a robot that attacks her. She is saved when Wendy crashes the jet into the base.

The destruction of the base awakens Oracle and the Calculator in time, and Oracle hugs Batgirl and thanks her. Wendy sends her father back inside his own memories, and he is taken to New Arkham where he won’t be able to tell anyone about what he knows about Oracle.

Later, Nick Gage comes to see Barbara at Gotham University. Stephanie and Wendy bond over their refusal to be defined by their past, and that night, “Proxy” assists Oracle in Firewall as Batgirl fights the Blimpmaster. In central lockup, “Johnny C.” obsessively reads Gotham Gazette articles about Batgirl. He is designing prospective superhero costumes for himself, and he declares he can’t wait to get out because Batgirl needs all the help she can get.
