Synopsis for "Polar Opposites"

Mr. Freeze, out of his exo-suit, is being used for research as part of the "Immortality Project" at WayneTech, a project using advances in cryogenics to save lives. Bruce Wayne is about to introduce Mr. Freeze to Dr. Francis D'Anjou, the new project director, when suddenly there is an explosion and Grant Walker appears, determined to get revenge on Mr. Freeze for betraying him previously,[1] which left him trapped in an iceberg for 2 years. Walker abducts the researchers and then attempts to kill Mr. Freeze, but he is stopped by Bruce Wayne. However, Bruce is overpowered and his head is frozen in ice.

Tim alerts Nightwing and Batgirl, and the two team up with Mr. Freeze, who resolves to save Francis D'Anjou, now revealed to be Nora's husband after she remarried. They go to the ruins of Oceana and Mr. Freeze tries to kill Grant Walker, but he is disabled by a built-in safety switch in his exo-suit. However, Mr. Freeze separates his head from his body and leaves using his robotic limbs.
