Synopsis for "Knights Passed, Part One: Batgirl & Robin"

Bruce Wayne is served regarding Felix Desidero's investigation into the death of Jason Todd after Barbara Gordon lets the process server onto the property, believing he is a pizza delivery man. He slams the door in the process server's face and goes down to the Batcave where he visits Jason's costume.

Years ago, Batman asked Batgirl to come out of retirement to keep an eye on Jason while he searches for the Joker. He wants to know her opinion of Jason's suitability after the death of Felipe Garzonas. Robin and Batgirl tracked down a gang of cigarette smugglers, and during the fight, the out-of-practice Batgirl was injured. Robin shot her assailant through the hand with a harpoon gun, angering Batgirl. Afterwards, when Batman asked her opinion of Robin, she told him that he had a chip on his shoulder and was daring anyone to knock it off.

In the present, Barbara climbs down to the Batcave to confront Bruce. She tells him Jason's death wasn't his fault, but Bruce wants to know whether he was a good father. Barbara assures him that he did all he could for Jason and muses that there's no greater fear for a parent than burying their child.

Synopsis for "snap."

A photojournalist approaches Commissioner Gordon with a bribe to set up a situation where he can take a picture of Batman, and Gordon has him thrown out. Reese's former assistant and rival Belasco is on the case too. Reese hires two men to break into a building, but when Batman stops them, he breaks Reese's camera to prevent him from taking a photo and warns him that Batman needs to remain a shadowy figure. When Batman leaves, Belasco shows himself and claims he got not only Batman but Reese begging for the shot on his camera. Reese attacks him, and he's stopped by Batman and arrested. Gordon denies the rumor that Reese saw Batman because Batman's only an urban legend.
