Synopsis for "Pushback, Book 2"

The Joker calls the warden of Blackgate prison and arranges the transfer of the Riddler. He uses a tape of the warden with an underage girl in a sexcapade as blackmail, and the transfer proceeds smoothly. In the Batcave, Batman and Robin discuss the Vesper lookalike, but can't trace her. It seems that nothing more unusual than normal is happening, until Oracle calls with news of the Riddler's transfer. Elsewhere, someone in a long brown coat blows up a transport grid control. On the road, Batman follows the prison convoy from the roofs. Oracle tells him the Joker arranged the transfer, to the Slab in Antarctica. Then, the lights jam on red. Batman calls for Robin and descends as a missile streaks towards the convoy. Oracle starts hacking satellites to find out who launched the attack and uses one of Luthors to see Hush activate a bomb at the hospital. Batman get into the back of the prison van, finds the Riddler still there and terrified, and orders the guards to take him back to prison. Hush blows open the van, and the Riddler escapes. He strips of his prison scrubs, his normal attire beneath. Hush confronts him on a roof. Police turn up, and Hush kills them, but the Riddler runs. Hush catches him, and demands the location of the Lazarus pit. He denies all knowledge of the location, so Hush beats him to a pulp. At the hospital, Batman goes in to defuse the bomb alone. On the roof, the Riddler, minus several teeth, falls backwards into the glass dome roof of a reception room. Hush jumps down after him and dragged him off.
