Synopsis for "Troika (Part II of IV)"

Batman interrogates Dark Rider about the Troika plans and the location of the nuclear device. Rider tells Batman to follow Colonel Vega and to try to prevent the possible nuclear disaster.

At Troika headquarters, Colonel Vega along with KGBeast and Romana Vrezhenski discussed about the nuclear device and the advantage it could provide against Batman and America. They argued between them without knowing that the Dark Rider hid the nuclear weapon in the Troika headquarters; in the same room they were arguing. Colonel Vega left the place when he was outvoted in a decision.

In the day, Bruce struggles to accomplish the chores in the Manor and in the night he starts looking again for Vega. Robin felt worried about Ariana's safety and left Batman to do the search alone.

Vega knew that he was being followed so he headed to his personal hideout where he kept some of his mind altering perception equipment. When Batman entered the place, he was unable to perform any physical activity because his senses have been altered. Batman received a beating in the hands of Vega's thugs. When Vega was about to give Batman the final blow, Batman managed to destroy the main control board Vega was using to alter his perception and he was able to defend himself. While Batman was beating Vega's thugs, he escaped through a back door just to find himself with a Troika member who shot Vega in the forehead. When Batman got outside Vega was dead and the killer gone. Batman searched Vega to find any clue of the nuclear device whereabouts, and the only thing he could find was a WayneTech card belonging to Lucius Fox.
