Story

The levels in this game are presented as episodes in which Batman is teamed up with one of several superheroes, including Plastic Man, Robin, Green Arrow, and Aquaman, to stop one of the various DC Comics villains.

Gameplay

The game is mostly a side-scrolling beat-em-up in which the player controls Batman as he punches, swings, and jumps his way through the bad guys in each of the levels. The second player can control Batman's partner at any time by simply picking up another Wii Remote. Sometimes Batman can call for a hero to jump in and unleash an attack that would deal major damage to the enemies onscreen, but this can only be used sparingly as the ability to do so needs time to "recharge".
