See No Evil is an episode of season 1 of Batman. It premiered on February 24, 1993.
Synopsis for "See No Evil"
There is a crime spree in Gotham and it is attributed to an "invisible man". The invisible man always visited a little girl named Kimberly and give her presents like necklaces and jewels of the sort. Some day, Bruce Wayne attended a jewelry exhibition; when suddenly out of nowhere the invisible man strikes. Bruce saw this and quickly changed into the Batman costume. He followed the trail of disturbance created by the invisible man but he was unable to stop the thief because he couldn't see him and therefore he couldn't fight him. The invisible man overpowered Batman and escaped with the loot from the exhibition.
The invisible man later visited Kimberly again and he learned that she and her mom were moving to somewhere else. It was later revealed that the invisible man was an ex-convict named Lloyd Ventrix and was the father of Kimberly. The next day, Ventrix visited Helen, his ex-wife and mother of Kimberly. He told her that he have changed but she would have none of it. Helen told Ventrix to disappear to which Ventrix answered: Be careful what you wish for.
Bruce was intrigued by the new villain and checked into some researches that WayneTech were doing over an optical project labeled "Cloak of Invisibility". He learned about the man who was researching it and went to visit the man. Once he spoke to him, Batman learned that the invisibility suit was toxic not only to the body but to the mind as well and that Ventrix have had knowledge of the project.
Batman hurries to see Helen and Kimberly but he arrives too late; Ventrix has taken Kimmy and took her away. Batman followed Ventrix and found him in a nearby wasteland. Ventrix was trying to get Kimmy inside a car but she refused when she find out that it was his father. Kimmy ran away back to her mother's house and Batman started to track Ventrix. The search lead him to the rooftop of a building where once again Ventrix overpowered Batman due to his invisible suit. Batman threw some shurikens to the water tower above them and the falling water made Venrtix more corporeal. Without his advantage, Ventrix was no match for Batman who quickly subdued the crook.
On some other night, Kimmy is talking to someone in her room and Helen enters the room alarmed. When she asked Kimmy who was she talking to, Kimmy answered that it was the Batman and Helen patronizes her little daughter; not knowing that Batman was actually outside on the roof of her house.

Trivia
- This is the seventeenth episode to be produced but the fifty-sixth to be aired.
- This episode is different to most of the series episodes due to it's humorous atmosphere. It might be because of the seriousness of the overall story that it needed a slight relief to the on-screen tension.
- In this episode Kimmy Ventrix is voiced by Elizabeth Moss, who will later go on to play main character in the movie Invisible Man, sharing certain similarities between two media. Antagonist is an abusive man of science, who devises an invisibility costume, in order to continue his abuse (in BTAS's case - to take daughter away from the estranged wife, in movie's - to gaslight his supposed girlfriend into compliance). In both cases character of Elizabeth Moss tells people around about the invisible person (while BTAS takes the lighter 'imaginary friend' road, film directly tells it's the abuser) and isn't believed.
