The Cat and the Claw, Part II is an episode of season 1 of Batman. It premiered on September 12, 1992.
Synopsis for "The Cat and the Claw, Part II"
Batman obtains some information over the Red Claw's activities. He informs Commissioner Gordon about. Red Claw was planning a hit on a train. Batman deduced that the train must be a military type train. When he arrived he took down several henchmen and in the end he was shocked to discover that Red Claw was a woman. He tried to stop her but she had acquired a lethal virus and threatened to set it free if Batman followed her or tried to stop her.
The next day Batman informs the commissioner of the events. He get ready to go out on a date with Selina Kyle. Bruce was driving with Selina when a car attacked them. They start a hot chase along Gotham City. Bruce used his driving skills to lose their attackers. He left selina at her place and he returned to the batcave where Alfred was curious about a hair he found in Bruce's coat. Bruce recognized the hair; it belonged to a black cat. Bruce knew that moment that Selina Kyle was Catwoman.
Selina went out as Catwoman to investigate more of the Multigon business. Maven was left alone, and a henchmen broke into the apartment. He was about to hurt her when Batman arrived and saved Maven. Batman told her that he already knew about Catwoman. He also told her to seek a hidin place because the Red Claw was looking for Selina and Maven. Before he left the place, Maven told Batman about Catwoman's feelings towards him.
Catwoman infiltrated in one of Red Claw's facilities. She took some pictures as evidence but was soon discovered. Fortunately Batman arrived in time to save her. They were looking for a way out when they were ambushed by Red Claw and her people. Red Claw tied them together and drops a bit of acid onto the canister that contained the virus. She intended to kill Batman and Catwoman and she started to evacuate the precinct. Catwoman used her claws and freed them. Batman told her to escape while he destroyed the virus. He set the whole facility on fire and then headed out to stop Red Claw. At that moment, the GCPD arrived at the scene and placed the terrorists under arrest. Catwoman thanked Batman from afar and left the scene.
When she arrived to her home she found out that Maven was gone and Batman was there waiting for her. Batman finally admits his feelings for Catwoman and he reluctantly places her under arrest.
