Synopsis for "Raging Lizard"
Killer Croc finds semi-legal employment in Gotham's underground fight rings, building up a fearsome reputation and scores of fans. His confidence is shaken, however, when he learns his newest competitor is to be the Masked Marauder - the man who had ended his legal pro-wrestling career years ago. The Marauder is now working as an enforcer for "Mobster" Mandrake, a Chicago crime boss looking to expand into Gotham.
Croc attempts to flee Gotham to avoid fighting the Marauder, but is stopped by his coach Mick, who convinces him to fight for the sake of his fans. On the day of the bout, Croc is once again badly beaten, and Batman - in pursuit of Mandrake - fares little better against the Marauder. However, Croc is roused by another speech from Mick, and manages to catch the Marauder by surprise, defeating him through sheer determination.
Batman takes Mandrake and the Marauder into custody, promising to leave Croc alone so long as Croc does not return to genuine crime.
