Synopsis for "The Penguin Declines"

Last episode Batman, Venus and Robin have been chained up by the Joker and his henchmen. They are ready to be fed to a Giant Clam and Robin has just been swallowed whole. Batman is able to break free from the chains and rescues both Venus and Robin by opening the clam shell with his bear hands.

Joker's Henchmen Uranus and Mars spring the Penguin from prison to help the Joker finish his last two zodiac crimes. But the rescue attempted almost failed due to Warden Citron. But when Saturn reports that Batman, Robin and Venus escaped from the clam trap, the Joker promises Penguin that together they will dispose of Batman once and for all.

For Aquarius, the Joker has devised a cunning crime and pollutes Gotham Water System with his Joker Jelly that turns all of Gotham's water into Strawberry Jelly. It even comes out of the shower and even worse; the jelly taste more like axle grease. Batman quickly makes and antidote and returns the the jelly back into normal water.

For Capricornus (the horned goat) both the Joker and Penguin agree it should be the death of Batman and the takeover of the Batcave. The Penguin tells Venus he is planning to give up his criminal life and asks her to wipe his criminal records from the Batcomputer so he can start a new life. This of course is a lie and when Venus convinces the Dynamic Duo to take her to the Batcave the Joker, Penguin and their henchman hide in the back of the Batmobile. But Batman expected this and after analyzing their genes with the Batspectrograph Criminal Analyser, he arrests the bunch after a short fight.

At Wayne Manor, Bruce and Dick have clam chowder for dinner, a chance for Robin to get even.
