Synopsis for "The Spirit Thieves"

Batman contacts Alfred from the Peruvian forest and tells him to inform the Peruvian authorities about the mercenaries looting the Inca treasures. Alfred informs Batman that the man resonsible for the lootings is called Jackson Killeen.

Batman and Deadman approach to a nearby cave and inside they find the priest Chimu. He told them that they might need further guidance and so he showed them the way to the lost city of the Incas through a tunnel. At the end of it, they arrived at the city but they come across two more of Killeen's men. Chimu was gone and Batman and Deadman handled the situation and knocked them.

Batman went to search for Chimu and the Incas and Deadman started looking for the source of the ghost like entities. Batman found Chimu inside a tent with some of the Inca warriors that were tied up by Killeen's men. Batman freed them and told them to help him against Killeen and they agreed. Deadman found that there was an Inca priest that was summoning the spirits of their ancestors to help them against Killeen. Deadman learned about the mummified bodies of the Incas' ancestors and convinced the priest to tell the spirits to possess their own mummified bodies and see for themselves what was happening in their sacred land.

Batman managed to destroy most of the mercenaries weapons and some of them started to follow him. Batman used the bone flute that Chimu had given to him and used it. A flock of bats, disturbed by the shrilling sound attacked the mercenaries and Batman escaped to meet with Deadman. Deadman told Batman to wait until the signal in order to attack with help of the Inca warriors and their mummies.

Killeen and his men were searching for the missing people and they headed to two towers were they thought were hidden. When they arrived there they were received by a group of ancient mummies possessed by their own spirits and they ran away in fear. That was the signal so Batman and the Inca warriors attacked the mercenaries and ensured victory. Killeen almost escaped but Batman stopped him. There was one of Killeen's men left and was ready to kill the Inca priest when Chimu threw the batarang that Batman gave him and knocked the man.

Deadman and Batman leave the place and they agreed that it is better for that lost city to remain that way.
