Synopsis for "All They Do is Watch Us Kill, Part III: It Only Hurts When I Laugh"

The green light emanating from the nuclear bomb that was dropped on Bludhaven just a few seconds before, lits up Crime Alley and Batman stares in disbelief. Jason Todd mocks Batman's dilema, pointing out that Batman's former sidekick, Nightwing probably died in the explosion. Batman jumps from the rooftop, trying to reach Bludhaven, but Jason stops him by telling him that if he leaves, someone else will die. On a different floor, Joker is enjoying the situation as he finds himself a hostage of Jason.

Jason threatens to kill Joker

Jason threatens to kill Joker
Batman uses a couple of Batarangs to distract Jason and tries escape from the place, but Jason dodges one of the batarangs, while the second one hit his shoulder. Jason then uses a grappling hook to attach a small rocket to Batman's cape, causing Batman to be dragged back. The fight continues and Jason tries to cut Batman's Utility Belt and in return, Batman burns Jason's leather jacket. Jason jumps away from Batman and into an abandoned building. Batman follows Jason and beats him to a pulp before telling him that he tried to save him in the past, but that he wasn't able. Jason tells Batman that he forgives him for not saving him, but Jason opens a door nearby, revealing Joker in the next room and asks Batman why is the psychopath still alive. Batman replies that despite his deep desire to kill him, he wouldn't allow himself to cross that line. Jason desperately grabs Joker and points a gun to his head, telling Batman that he has no choice but to kill Joker or him, otherwise he would kill Joker. In a split second, Batman uses a batarang that ricochets behind Jason and hurts Jason's shoulder, leaving an open wound and Jason bleeds until he can't stand up anymore. Joker laughs harder than ever before and he takes a gun from the ground and aims it towards a box full of explosives. Joker pulls the trigger and the whole floor of the building explodes.

The place is destroyed and the building has collapsed, but a few moments later a mystical force covers the entire place and the whole universe starts changing.
