Synopsis for "Bride of Batman!"

The Shah of a foreign nation arrives in Gotham City to discuss important international matters, but he is helplessly attacted to Vicki Vale, who is the photographer assigned to cover the Shah's activities. When the Shah expresses his desire to marry Vicki, she can't think of a better way out of such predicament than announcing a fake engagement with Batman, who agrees to play along reluctlantly.

Batman's crime-fighting activities are somewhat affected by his public relation with Vicki as she also becomes target for many thugs trying to get to Batman. The situation gets worse when a jealous co-worker of Vicki sends out invitations for Batman and Vicki's wedding to the most important people in Gotham. Vicki couldn't be happier that this chain of events happen, but Batman starts thinking of a way to end the charade. Soon, a rumour that indicates that any person who marries Batman must undergo plastic surgery to protect their lives, spreads across Gotham and the Shah stops the wedding from taking place as he couldn't bear the thought of Vicki changing her face. Batman later tells Robin that he started that rumour, which proved useful to get out of this tight situation.
