This paperback collects the Blackest Knight storyline and the Batman and Robin: Batman vs. Robin storyline, which were originally published in the comic book series Batman and Robin from March to July, 2010. These storylines are written by Grant Morrison. The illustrations are by Cameron Stewart and Andy Clarke.
The Blackest Knight storyline ties into the Green Lantern storyline Blackest Night. In the Batman and Robin: Batman vs. Robin storyline the new Batman and Robin uncover clues involving the mysterious death of Bruce Wayne before facing off against each other in a heated battle instigated by Robin's mother that both heroes will regret.
