Synopsis for "Mission: Creep"

Batman reviews files that Martian Manhunter procured from Jardine's data reserves with Francine Langstrom.Batman wants to better understand the OMAC they captured but as Francine reviews the files, she notices something irregular. It seems Jardine's scientist were mapping out a 3-D model of OMAC with new lifeforms that weren't nanite constructs. Batman didn't understand what purpose the scientists would have for using actual living biological species. Francine surmises that they were combining genetic material to build creatures with no practical applications.

Francine elaborates by pointing out that these creatures are of a scale that is not capable of withstanding Earth's gravity. With their carapace exoskeletons, it would be impossible for these creature to last more than an hour because Earth's conditions would cause them to collapse. Francine does notice that these creatures can overcome lethal exposure to gamma radiation. Batman deduces that the creatures are meant for Earth and figures that they may be related to Jardine's contract with the European Space Agency.

As Batgirl, Cassandra Cain arrives in the French Guiana at the Kourou Arrondissement. Suddenly, an arrow whizzes by Batgirl with Green Arrow appearing out of nowhere. Metamorpho and Katana try to call off Oliver's assault by saying the Batman vouched for Cassandra but Oliver isn't listening because he knows Cassandra's past with the League of Assassins. Oliver shoots another arrow straight at Cassandra's chest but Katana uses Soultaker to cut the arrow in half. Oliver goads Katana to try her trick again and Katana remains steadfast. The Batman appears and tells Green Arrow to stand down.

Batman explains to the team that the creatures are part of a payload scheduled to launch from the ESA's Koulou Spaceport. According to the falsified records, the payload is simply a ku-band satellite but Batman believes it to be a key to Brother Eye and Jardine's great plan. Batman can't allow Brother Eye to expand his extraterrestrial capabilities. Green Arrow agrees with Batman but Oliver tells Bruce to keep Batgirl away from him.
