Professional boxers are being mysteriously killed and skinned. Mobsters beginning to worry that rival gangs are responsible for the murders. Eventually they meet up to discuss it and a translucent monster shows up and attacks them. This monster turns out to be a predator. Batman shows up to defend the mobsters, but is bested by the predator. He takes a while to recover, but he returns with a suit of armor designed to fight the predator. Eventually, Batman defeats him, and a ship filled with predators lands. They give Gotham's defender a sword and the defeated predator ritualistically kills himself.
