Anthony "Big Words" Rodriguez was a clone of the original Anthony Rodriguez, a scientist who once adventured as a member of the original Newsboy Legion. He was created at a secret underground facility outside of Metropolis known as Project Cadmus. Anthony joined with four other boys, themselves, all clones of the original team, and formed the modern day Newsboy Legion. The Newsboy Legion were instrumental in freeing another clone, Superboy, from the Cadmus laboratories and helping him to escape the facility by way of a drainage ditch. [1]
