Synopsis for "The Man That Got Away"

Oracle still has a one-way communication connection with Black Canary who is taken to an undisclosed location by Archer Braun. Dinah took off her earring transceivers earlier and, thus, Oracle cannot tell Dinah that she is still able to listen.

In the mansion of Solomon Cadiz, Catwoman is fighting a bodyguard while Huntress is in the garden dealing with some security guards and Cadiz' dogs. Both women flee from the estate after Cadiz told Catwoman about the location to which Archer Braun might want to escape.

Assisted by Batman and Robin, Oracle tries to keep track of Braun's plane, but the crafty villain uses a trick to get off the flight radar. Oracle ensures Batman she will take care of the situation and, surprisingly, Batman agrees to not interfere in her further investigations.

Catwoman informs Huntress that Braun is trying to hide somewhere in Kazakhstan. As Huntress addresses the problem that this country is still very large, both women suddenly hear something beeping. Catwoman finds Black Canary's earrings and hears Oracle who is trying to make contact. Oracle tells Catwoman and Huntress that she may have identified the exact location where Archer Braun is heading and will make all necessary travel arrangements for them.

After landing in Kazakhstan, Braun and Dinah need to use horses to reach their final destination - a hidden city called Katchik 9-9. Braun explains that the city was once a weapon's test site. One of these weapons was a plastic eating virus which accidentally stripped half of the city's infrastructure. Now, Katchik 9-9 is used as a base of operations by terrorists and other criminals. So it is not surprising that gladiator-like pit fights are part of local entertainment. Black Canary watches how a hooded woman dispatches her opponent with one deadly strike and immediately recognizes the combat style of Lady Shiva ...
