Synopsis for "Stone Cold Knockout"
Black Canary and Oracle discuss Dinah's marriage proposal from Oliver Queen, Green Arrow. Barbara brings up all of the past times Ollie has cheated on her, but although annoyed, Dinah remains persistent in her belief she should say yes.
At a motel, after making love, Knockout and Scandal get into a minor fight when Scandal accidentally brings up Knockout's defeat at the hands of Barda during the events of "Dead of Winter." Knockout goes to find Barda, who is busy helping Misfit babysit Sin, and sees a mysterious assailant stalking her. Demanding that Barda's death belongs to her, Knockout engages the man in conflict, but is quickly slain, shot and thrown off of a rooftop. The rest of the Birds, especially Barda, are immensely surprised to see her body.

- This issue shipped on August 22nd, 2007.
- The events from this issue take place prior to the events from Black Canary (Volume 3).
- Knockout's death is a tie-in to "Death of the New Gods", one of many sub-stories in the Countdown to Final Crisis.
- This issue makes reference to Oliver Queen's various indiscretions. The existence of Oliver's illegitimate son Connor Hawke was revealed in Green Arrow (Volume 2) #0. Oliver was drugged and raped by Shado in the "Here There Be Dragons" storyline from Green Arrow (Volume 2) #10-12. Dinah caught Ollie kissing a young Sherwood Florist employee named Marianne in Green Arrow (Volume 2) #75, and he cheated on Dinah with the late Joanna Pierce in the "Straight Shooter" storyline from Green Arrow (Volume 3) #26-31. Ollie's flirtation with Batgirl as presented in this issue is new material that appears to have taken place at some point shortly following the Batgirl: Year One storyline.
- This issue makes reference to the death of Lightray. Lightray was killed under mysterious circumstances in Countdown #48.
