  • This issue begins immediately following the events of the last issue.
  • The events from this series take place before the events from Countdown #49.
  • Felix Faust was imprisoned inside the Tower of Fate by Ralph Dibny in 52 #42. That is the same issue where Neron killed Ralph Dibny. Faust explains in this issue that Neron found a way to leave the binding circle that Dibny constructed, but it is not explained exactly how Neron accomplished this.
