The Sultan of Ghanpat owns a vast trove of gold and jewels, accumulated over the centuries. A European criminal gets hired as the Ghanpat Chief of Police, and subverts a number of policemen into attempting an ambitious robbery. They are foiled by the visiting Blackhawk Squadron, and one of them narrowly avoids getting eaten by a Komodo Dragon.

  • Blackhawk #10 (Spring 1946) went on sale on 17 October 1945, and presents three post-WWII Blackhawk stories, while Modern Comics #48 (April 1946) went on sale on 8 February 1946, and presents the first explicitly post-WWII Blackhawk story.
