HistoryEdit

Blackjack Jorgis was an outlaw who had been a freed slave, and ran a largely Mexican criminal gang. Jonah Hex attempted to track him down, but they actually managed to capture the bounty hunter. Blackjack and all of his men were murdered by ex-Confederates who had arrived to send a message of revenge against Hex from Quentin Turnbull.^[1]

This character is mostly notable for being one of the worst racist caricatures ever published by DC Comics.
