Blish is a Graxonite of the planet Graxos V in Sector 2815. He protected his sector as a member of the Green Lantern Corps after the death of Fentara of Graxos IV.
Blish witnessed an attack on a boy on Graxos III by Karu-Sil and three beasts. Thinking that Karu-Sil was also being attacked, he killed the beasts and brought her to Graxos IV to be institutionalized.[1]
After his death, his ring passed to Arisia, the teenaged daughter of his predecessor.
