Bloodwynd is a superhero who fights crime using necromancy. The descendant of brutalized african-american slaves, he gets his powers from a Blood Gem that has been passed down through the decades. He has been a member of the Justice League and Sentinels of Magic. Bloodwynd was created by Dan Jurgens, first appearing in name and costume as a false identity used by Martian Manhunter in Justice League Spectacular #1.
